Location:  In the heart of Romagna, at the gates of the Apennines the Agriturismo Campo Rosso is a fantastic experience that allows you to rediscover yourself thanks to a fantastic context surrounded by nature. Activities, flavors, traditions and typical dishes of Romagna will delight guests in the best way.

Horse-riding On the horseback you can explore nature feeling part of the land, ride at the right speed to enjoy the view, chat with fellow travelers, enjoy a group ride in the forest, watch the river and get to the ridges to enjoy the view of the valley.
Horses lend us their strength, their instinct, their sensitivity, those who ride horses learn to look at the world in a different way, to listen more carefully, and to “feel” the emotions through movements, attitudes, breath, rhythm, smells.

The staff organizes horseback riding and horse trekking in the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, baptisms of the saddle and courses to approach the horse.
Katia and Cristian in fact are equestrian tourist guides of Fitetrec-Ante and the passion for tourism add that for horses and the equestrian world in general, and therefore organize in the Agriturismo Campo Rosso: guide for riders with their own horse, multi-days trekking, tours to daisy or in line with luggage service, riding lessons, first steps and baptisms of the saddle and horsmanship, clinics and seminars with qualified instructors.

Rooms: Artistic rooms created and decorated by artists of Romagna who have given their imagination furnishing them in style and design, surrounded by greenery and equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, courtesy set, free Wi-Fi in common areas.

“I thought about turning the room … all for me … I thought and imagined spending the next few weeks … The colors came from my heart … I like to “transport” people in my “dreams”
I hope I succeeded!”

Barbara Spazzoli – Stanza della Luna (Moon Room)

Cooking School: The true passion of our cook is the cuisine of the past, the one that has origins in old peasant families, made of hand-rolled dough, long cooking, raw materials gathered in the morning and cooked in the afternoon, where nothing is thrown away and the flavors make you go back to childhood.

Restaurant The true Romagna cuisine. In search of the old peasant recipes, the simple and genuine flavors of the past, through the use of the products of our farm and our territories.

Among the specialties: Tris of piadine and crescioni with herbs, dry Passatelli with bacon and tomatoes, Strozzapreti with sausage and radicchio, Rabbit in pork.

Gaia Food Academy tricks and reviews
The holiday in Emilia Romagna is always cheerful, like its inhabitants … The Emiliani and the Romagnoli are a lively people, always smiling often with the typical face of healthy life, humble and never snob, they make you feel pampered in a 4-star hotel like in a farmhouse, they are good people who still hold to the values of life, that will guarantee you special holidays, like them that still have a soul and make you remember that you have one too.

The Emilia Romagna is one of the most varied regions: we find miles of white beach with a sea, mistreated in urban legends, but now more and more deserving, discos and clubs for those who love nightlife, the promenade where well dressed singles of all ages slowly walk up and down, the bathing establishments with their “sort of” restaurants with greased wooden tables that, if you lean on your elbows, will stick to you all day, but here is fine …

… it’s not sticky, it’s typical and well suited to the piadine with rocket and squacquerone and to the incredible spaghetti with clams … it’s worth it.

The smell of grilled meat makes you feel at home while sipping a good red wine while admiring San Marino that rises on Mount Titano; here you can also take care and treat yourself well in Salsomaggiore, the temple of thermal wellness where time stops and you can recharge with new energy … but after the spa what makes you feel better than a little shopping? Grab the chance! The Fidenza Village is one of the best luxury outlets, a real outdoor shopping village with exclusive boutiques.

For the fans there are evocative medieval villages and castles. If you want a bewitched castle the Montebello, it can also be visited inside, is linked to the legend of Azzurrina, handed down orally and then certainly far from the original: it is said that Azzurrina was an albino girl, in the 1300s popular superstition linked albinism with witchcraft; to protect her, her father always had her escorted by two guards and never let her leave the house; June 21, 1375 Azzurrina played inside the castle with a ball of rags, to chase it she fell into the underground icehouse, the child was never found and her ghost is still trapped in the castle; since then every five years at the summer solstice she returns to be heard… brrrrrrr

Surroundings

Blu Entrance: Sharks, Penguins, Trigons and Jellyfish are just some of the many protagonists of this exciting journey. The blue entrance is an immersion in the history and in the biological evolution of the planet: some tanks host species still surviving after millions of years, like the great sharks considered living fossils. It is a journey around the world but below the surface of the water!

Yellow Entrance: Tender and playful, the Asian small-clawed otter, Aonyx cinerea, is the smallest otter in the world! These Asian small-clawed otters are recognizable, above all, by their front legs that they use to feed on mollusks, crabs and other small aquatic animals.

Green Entrance: Snakes live in close contact with the ground, detaching only when they swim. Thanks to this position they perceive the sound vibrations and follow the odorous tracks. The style of life of a snake can be deduced from the shape of his body. Ophidians, the snakes, comprise almost 3,000 different species, from a few centimeters to 10 meters in length.

Purple entrance  The strangest creatures of the Planet, strange and unknown beings, are the protagonists of the exhibition ‘Abysses: Alien Earth’ at the purple entrance of the Aquarium. The marine ecosystem is the largest environment on earth. In the oceans, sunlight only penetrates up to 200 meters. Proceeding downwards, the water temperature tends to decrease. The deep sea is an extreme environment, inhabited by a few organisms for the most part still unknown. With this exhibition we try to make known the wonders and the incredible forms of life of the abysses.
These species are shaped by pressure from absolute darkness and frost, they have incredible shapes, they seem to belong to an alien and imaginary world. The protagonists are the specimens of the abyssal fauna. These include the 13 meters giant squid. Visit the Cattolica Aquarium website

Ravenna Ravenna is a treasure chest of art, history and culture, a city with ancient origins and a glorious past. From the beginning of the 5th century, the city has been the capital of the declining Western Roman Empire (AD 402-403), of Theodoric’s reign (AD 493-526) and of the Byzantine Empire (AD 553-751).

The richest heritage of mosaics in the world, preserved in the basilicas and baptisteries of the city, is a clear evidence of that extraordinary period. For their universal value and the uniqueness of their mosaics, eight monuments of Ravenna have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, namely Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, Neonian Baptistery, Arian Baptistery, Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo, Chapel of Sant’Andrea or Archiepiscopal Chapel, Mausoleum of Theoderic, Basilica of San Vitale and Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe.

But the city is much more. The great variety of landscapes surrounding Ravenna ranges from farmlands with fruit groves, marshes and canals flanked by typical fishing nets to centuries-old pinewoods overlooking sandy, well-equipped beaches. Nine unique seaside resorts stretch along its 30-km long coastline. Its beaches offer a wide range of facilities and leisure activities, such as games, sports and fitness, walks and rides, amusement parks (e.g. Mirabilandia), as well as sunshine, relax and culinary delights.

Milzetti Palace in Faenza is the richest and most complete example of that elegant architectural and decorative civilization that flourished in Faenza in the Neoclassical age, making it a small capital of taste.
On the ground floor we visit the rooms where Count Francesco Milzetti lived and the library, of simple and functional elegance.
Then you enter the famous oval ante-bathroom, one of the masterpieces of the well-known artist Felice Giani inspired by the Herculanian decorations.
The dining room has two long walls enlivened by just outlined apses and decorated with motifs such as the vine leaf and the acorn.
You enter the main floor from the simple and solemn staircase, which leads with an effect of calculated surprise in the vast Octagonal Hall called Temple of Apollo.
Then visit the Sala delle Feste or Achille Gallery, where there is a cozy lounge with a fireplace and then the bedroom of the couple, with a suggestive night motif.

Faenza among ceramics, ceramics of Faenza boasts a centuries-old tradition that still continues to be of considerable importance as an expression of craftsmanship and industry. Due to its geographical position, which makes it a meeting point between the Po Valley and the Tuscan culture, the city has been able to establish itself as a ceramics center of primary importance since the Middle Ages. The fame of these Faenza products is such that majolica is known all over the world with the French name of Faience.

Brisighella is an ancient thirteenth-century village set in the heart of the Apennines between Florence and Ravenna. Brisighella is an ideal place for a peaceful holiday. Art, history and architecture merge, in fact, harmoniously giving life to a center of extraordinary beauty where, between narrow and characteristic alleys, stretches of boundary walls and stairways carved into plaster, time seems to have stopped at the medieval period.
Moving towards the real heart of Brisighella we find the famous Via del Borgo, an elevated and covered road dating back to the twelfth century that was probably the oldest defensive bulwark to protect the village. Famous for its unique architecture with its arched windows that give it light, it is also known as Via degli Asini (Donkeys Street) for the custom of letting the caravans of animals, used to transport the material from the nearby gypsum quarries, pass through this street. Even the historic center is of particular interest, characterized by some elements of great importance.
But beyond its architectural aspect, Brisighella is also an ideal place for a stay of therapeutic relaxation thanks to the waters of its thermal baths, or for a few days of hiking, immersed in the natural beauties of the Regional Park of Vena del Gesso, one of the most characteristic geographical and geological features of the Romagna Apennines. A small village, in short, that hides a lot of surprises and that is really able to satisfy the most varied tastes.

Mirabilandia is like an adrenaline rush of unforgettable emotions and pure fun. A few miles from Ravenna, Italy’s largest amusement and water park provides plenty of exciting sensations as well as relaxing moments amidst luxuriant vegetation and flowers.

Mirabilandia, “Land of wonders”, it’s a theme and water park in the heart of Romagna coastline. It offers a wide range of international-level, record-setting attractions and shows for the whole family making each minute of your time spent here a unique experience for parents and children… aged 0-99.

Emotions that always aim high in the name of constant renewal. A magical world that never ceases to amaze.

At Mirabilandia the great emotions go through great records and breathtaking chills that will make your day unforgettable. Attractions suitable for the whole family where parents and children can challenge each other and where even the little ones will live the thrill of new adventures becoming, from time to time, explorers, pirates, cowboys or characters from an ancient world.

Among the records, just to name a few, Divertical is the highest water coaster in the world that allows you to dart over the water at over 110 km per hour, after a dizzying 60-meter dive. iSpeed is the primacy roller coaster that gives thrills and sensations like those experienced by F1 pilots reaching 55 meters in height with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.2 seconds.
On Katun, instead, you are suspended in the void at 50 meters high, flying over the ruins of a mysterious Mayan city. At this point you just have to try a vertical launch up to 60 meters and the consequent breathtaking fall, down in the void, aboard the Oil Towers.
Finally, to admire the view, you can get on the Eurowheel that with its 90 meters is the highest panoramic wheel of continental Europe. Fans of the far west will not miss the thousand adventures of the Far West Valley, the new thematic area inaugurated in 2016 that offers many new family emotions. And then entire areas dedicated to the joy of children like the lively Bimbopoli and the Jurassic Dinoland!

In Mirabilandia to skip from air to water is a short leap, because you can also dive in the fun thanks to Mirabeach, the water park of Mirabilandia. A fantastic Caribbean atmosphere between crystal-clear beaches and water slides able to amaze even the bravest.

For this twenty-fifth anniversary there are many news on the schedule with unique shows, including hilarious musicals that retrace the history of music and acrobatic performances that will leave you breathless. As always, the highly anticipated “Grosso Guaio a Stunt City” is back, completely renewed, in collaboration with Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand. With its 20 years of appreciated activity and with over 20 million viewers, it is the high-adrenaline stunt show with the world’s highest death ride ever performed in an amusement park.

Great news is also the exciting and adrenaline virtual reality of Master Thai VR, the double-track roller coaster that will not only give the emotions of the chase run, but also the extraordinary and immersive experience of virtual reality. An extraordinary adventure among wild animals, temples, traps and dangers from which to escape, set in the Thai jungle. Visit the Mirabilandia wesite
