To take care of every aspect of your experience we attended in person, disguised as regular students, the cooking classes to test different chefs and try various typical Italian dishes.

The so carefully selected chefs, all with teaching skills, sense of humor and, of course, a good grade of spoken english will take you in a learning trip to discover the “Grandma’s tricks” of Italian cuisine, the classic recipes that made us famous worldwide as Pasta Carbonara, Pasta Amatriciana and Risotto.
Particular attention will be reserved to traditional regional dishes revisited in a modern way and fancy plating to satisfy the eye, so you can achieve an instructive and fun learning experience, both for newbies and expert cookers.

Details: During the 7 days journey you’ll partake in 4 half-day 4 hours cooking classes (during the 3 days journeys you’ll partake in 1 lesson, in the 4 night stays you’ll take 2 lessons)) in which you’ll cook with fresh seasonal products and will put your cooking skills to the test having lunch with what you’ve just cooked with chef’s help.
The recipies you’ll learn will vary depending on the season, the location and the chef and, on some occasions, you will enjoy a field trip with the chef to the farmers market to buy the fresh ingredients needed during the lesson.
You’ll cook with the chef a wide variety of typical italian dishes as the Risotto, you will roll with your own hands fresh pasta with regional fillings and tasty sauces. Your trip in the Italian cuisine is going to be really funny !

The School of Agliano: Perfectly located it borns in Agliano, the land of Barbera of excellence naturally suited for tourism and to valorize the local typical food and wine. For over 40 years, chefs who have become internationally renowned have been trained and followed; among the teachers one of the Chefs we have chosen for you.

The Chef Gino Minacapilli: Internationally renowned Chef and Culinary Teacher … When the kitchen rises to the chair … And the chair goes to the kitchen. The chef Gino Minacapilli, who is specalized in pastry and chocolate, combines his rich experience gained in the kitchen with teaching: he is a lecturer at “A.F.P.” (Professional Training Agency of the Asti Hills) and, since 2011, he collaborates with ICIF (Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners).

In February 2016 he presented a week of Piedmontese cuisine in Ontario (Canada) at the institute “Stratford Chef School”. He has exported the culinary tradition of the Piedmont region in combination with the well-known local wines also in Norway, where he held court at the school of Leknes, in the Lofoten Islands; in April he will return to Norway again to work with Ørjan Johannessen, winner of the “Bocuse d’Or 2016”, in a new project for his restaurant in Bekkjarvik.
